My name is Shafeel Allam, originally from the Fiji Islands. My family moved from Fiji around 2000 and have been living in Los Angeles ever since. I always had an interest in movies and specifically how they were made. I enjoyed going to Blockbuster (when it was still alive and well) picking out movies to watch with my family. In high school I learned how to edit videos and recording video game footage. Combining the two, I created montage videos with Call of Duty and Battlefield games. In 2015 I figured out what I wanted to do in life and started pursuing video editing as a career. In 2017, I graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Multimedia Production. My passion is video editing and anything related to post production. I have recently started making videos and have taken an interest in car photography. I love cars and try to attend Cars and Coffee around LA every Sunday. Videography is also a new interest stemming from my current job creating product photographs and videos. My goal is to become a video editor for any of the major film studios.
